Location: Summerville

A northern suburb of Charleston, Summerville is one of the area’s largest at over 15 square miles. Population has steadily climbed in Summerville over the years and the area has responded with residential development and commercial expansion.
Summerville is perhaps most well known for it’s Flowertown Festival held every April. It’s the largest arts and crafts fair in South Carolina.
There is a historic section of Summerville that is a true step back in time. Walking around historic Summerville is about as close as you will get to living in the old South. That historic section is offset and balanced by lots of newer homes and subdivision mixed in among restaurants, shopping and offices.
Prices are very reasonable compared to suburbs closer to Downtown. You can purchase a nice home in Summerville for as low as $150K and if you really want to live, there are homes near the $1 Million mark.
